BIO & STORY
The Anti-Queens are Toronto’s premier punk rock ’n’ roll band. A relentless, road-tested force known for their explosive live energy, melodic grit, and unfiltered honesty. Led by guitarist-vocalists Emily Bones and Valerie Knox, alongside Michael Crusty (bass/vocals) and Tommy-Lee Metcalfe (drums), the band has spent over a decade carving out their own lane across Canada, the U.S., the U.K., and Europe.
Signed to Stomp Records, The Anti-Queens blend raw punk urgency with rock ’n’ roll swagger, channeling themes of love, loss, resistance, and resilience. Their self-titled debut established the band as one of Canada’s most vital punk acts, while their sophomore album, Disenchanted, showcased sharper songwriting, bigger hooks, and the same uncompromising spirit that continues to fuel their growing international following.
Following extensive touring throughout Europe, the U.K., Canada, and the U.S. in 2024 and 2025, the band has played major festivals including Punk Rock Holiday, Time To Rock, and Warped Tour. They’ve shared stages with The Interrupters, Danko Jones, Refused, Streetlight Manifesto, Bowling For Soup, and Mad Caddies, while continuing to headline clubs and festivals across North America and Europe.
Now entering their next chapter, The Anti-Queens are preparing to release their highly anticipated third full-length album in Spring 2027, alongside another international touring cycle. Loud, defiant, and built to last, The Anti-Queens continue to prove why they are one of Canada's hardest-working and most exciting punk rock exports.
